Awesome Day at Kajukenbo Arizona!

Saturday, October 4th was a great day to be at Kaju AZ!

Grandmaster Forbach, Professor Joe Stubbs and Professor Mark Vorbau treated students from many schools with an amazing self-defense seminar. We are honored to have them in our Ohana! Grandmaster shared so many wonderful stories about Sijo Emperado and we learned so much not only from his amazing Kaju skills, but from his experiences! He is truly an inspiration to all of us!

Thank you to Grandmaster Ted Sotelo for stopping by as well as his generous donation to our auction. Kajukenbo was well represented by all the many schools who came and supported this event.

Special thanks to our Professor George Lim and Sigung Aunty Patrice Lim. Their kindness is overwhelming. Our Kaju AZ and Lim Kenpo support team - made up of students and parents - really make it easy to host a large event!

Finally, thank you to all that supported our charity BBQ events for Multiple Sclerosis and Katie Crowder! Our BBQ lunch raised $510 for MS and we received many bids in our silent auction. Don't forget that the bidding will continue until our MS Demo, Brick Breaking Event and BBQ on October 18th.

This was an inspirational and emotional day to feel all the Kajukenbo history, pride and generosity! We look forward to more events like this one in the future.

Thank you Sifu and Simou. It was a great event and good to see all the support from our Kajukenbo Family. It should be known what we experienced was truly something rare to have so much of the original Kajukenbo history shared with us in one room. I like to thank all the Grandmasters and Professors who shared their knowledge and time with us. It was an honor to have the experience.

Thank you Grandmaster Forbach, Professor Joe Stubbs, and Professor Mark Vorbau. This was my first seminar and it was great. I loved the stories, the techniques, and especially the attitude & Kajukenbo spirit that was shared. I am kicking myself for having not participated in a seminar before and I look forward to the next one. It was great to train with our brothers and sisters from our Ohana. We all have our roots but we bring different flavors to the art. Thank you Sifu Kelly and Simou Jennifer for hosting this event!

This was an awesome day! Not only did I have the opportunity to learn from Grandmaster Forbach, but it was an honor to be in the same room as two Grandmasters and three Professors all at once. There was no mistaking the feeling of excitement and respect in the air that came from everyone.

Thank you for hosting this event, and my gratitude extends to all of the people who not only shared their knowledge, but also shared in learning, too. This was a day that I will not forget.

Was an awesome event, such great people and great causes. Thanks to Simou Jen and Sifu Kelly for hosting this and doing all the heavy lifting that is required to host these events. Grandmaster Forbach is a living legend that we are blessed to be able to rub elbows with. Look forward to more of these events with him and the Board of Directors of Kajukenbo!!!

Thanks again, Sifu Hugo....
